I found the first four Sword of Truth books at Pages Books today, so I got them. I also got Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, and a couple of random titles. Nothing like lots of books to lift my spirits.
Went with mum while she did her on call visits for Gentiva. This meant I got to raid Pages Books, learn they're moving, and then help with the grocery shopping. I love it when I can because I make sure to get the stuff ~I~ like as well. To my surprise and delight, I found they were selling Wildberry flavored Smints, which are my favorites and I haven seen since over a year ago when Ashtyn got them for me the night we got piss ass drunk. My strongest memory is chasing down my tequilas with them, and having a couple to get rid of the aftertaste of puke.
Still it was a great find. It made my day much more interesting than I thought it would be. Still, I got a lot of reading The Vampire Lestat and listening to music in there. And the weather was mainly really nice!
So yesterday was Rhianna's and Charley's birthdays, and tomorrow is Crispy's birthday. So happy 18th to the lot of them. Now I'm sure we're all off to buy porn, cigarrets, and go off to the casino to gamble the night away. *grins*
