I got a snazzy new hat

Well, there was supposed to be a family picnic thing this weekend but of course the weather was way too shitty. Ah, well, we went over to visit Silvia anyway. And I got my birthday present from them--a $25 gift card for Borders. Mum forgot to warn me to bring my wallet so I didn't have my other card. Ah, well, I can always spend it at Walden Books.
So, I had a look at books. I wouldn't go near the CD's for fear of becoming attached. And I thought, since I had the card, why not invest in Away Laughing on a Fast Camel, or maybe the Second Summer of the Sisterhood. I caved. I got Away Laughing. And then, what did I find in paperback, but the sequel to the Green Rider, First Rider's Call. Sweet! We hit up TJ Max where I found my snazzy hat. And a pair of knee high socks. Yay.
Away Laughing on a Fast Camel has a different name in England. So does On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God. Bloody Americans.
