Oh. my. God.
Dec. 11th, 2004 10:17 amYesterday I did something that I don't think I'll ever do again, or at least not any time soon. Iain and I went to a DVD theatre where one of his coworkers had arranged to play all three LotR movies. All three extended editions of the LoTR movies. After that, I have this to say...
( Wait, don't want to spoil it for you, now do I? :P )
I don't know why, but I find I'm satisfied with either version of FoTR. I don't HAVE to own/see/watch the EE, but I do like to. However, for me, the extended version is the only version worth watching of TTT. All the little missing bits were all the little pieces that made it flow. And I have the say the extended version of RoTK is just... better.
But I don't think I'll ever watch all three one after the other like that again. It's not as if my attention didn't waver at points.
Fin.
