So [livejournal.com profile] miyumiyu did that meme of leave a comment and I'll take an interest or two of yours and make a picture. And I left a request. *grins* I like mine.

woo, nearly had bad coding here )

Well, last night, Shan came over at about nine-thirty/ten so we could watch the tape of Scrubs and Lost that I borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] blue_raven. Unfortunately, I'm technically handicapped sometimes, and couldn't figure out how to get the VCR to cooperate and play the damn video. So, we got distracted and watched the last half of Pleasantville, and then Shrek, while eating the roses chocolates Shan brought over. And then we wandered over to Shan's hall to use the VCR there, and had two minute noodles while we watched the video.
So, the hour and a half I thought I'd be spending with him got extend ed closer to three times that. *grins* I went to bed at about two this morning, but I was wide awake just after nine. Kinda weird, but meh. Sleeping is wierd because if I lay on one side it hurts my tender shoulder, and the other side hurts my tender arse.
Went to the library today and returned several books that were due. Then turned around and took out ten more. Hee! Definitely set for books for the next few weeks.
Anyway, that's about all there's worth writing about. I feel boring. I'm sorry. No one else wants me to interview them? I only got one request in the last entry. Sad.

Alright, so, on MSN, I play Hexic a lot.
For those of you who don't/haven't played, the game goes something like this: you have a screen of several different colored hexagons, and the idea is to rotate a trio of hexagons to get a combo of three or more of the same color together. They disappear and more hexagons fall down. Or, for more points, you arrange it so that six hexagons form a hexagon around another hexagon, and a star is formed. If you're really good, you make several of those stars, and get them to form a hexagon, and a pearl is formed. Randomly through all this, bombs will drop down from the top and you have a number of moves to destroy it in a combo of like colors, or once it reaches zero the game is over. There's also hexagons with little stars on them that give extra points. But the end aim of the game is to form three pearls and get them to make a trio.
And oh, how I have complained with those who play with me about the impossibility of winning. One is lucky to form ONE pearl in a game, let alone two or three before one gets caught out by a bomb. It always seems to conspire against you, as much as a non-sentient game can conspire anything. But despite that, I have still managed to reach high scores... but today... Today. Today I made two pearls in a game, which was a first. The very next game, I managed to make three pearls. I won at hexic!
I think just maybe I play it too much? :P
