Me: I have Morris!!!!!
Mum: WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so he FINALLY arrived...........
Me: he arrived two days ago but I didn't get the notice until yesterday
Mum: oh right.... yes they were a bit slack there then, weren't they... but glad he got there okay. I can throw the paper work away now.
Me: I've been wearing the ring
Mum: oh good.........
Me: and the socks are both cute and V. much needed. At least two pairs of my socks had thinned/holes in the ankles
Mum: glad you liked them! When I found the Care Bear and Strawberry shortcake ones I thought "oh that's Hana!" but the cat ones were cute too........ so they all came home....... did the sweater fit?
Me: haven't tried it on yet. I'm, um, wearing what I was wearing yesterday...
Mum: oh oh...... so is this because we didn't come home last night?
Apparently I missed an opportunity to watch Fight Club, what with not coming home. I'd left my cell phone at home, and when I got back this morning, there was a text message from about 1:30 in the morning from Shan asking if I was still up and wanted to watch Fight Club. Heh. No dice mate, I was at Peter's... we went and saw Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and I was highly amused. There was one time where I felt a bit of a dunce because it took me a moment or two longer than the rest of the audience to get. But ooooh Angelina + Brad + guns & splody things + snark = v. v. happy moi. And then we went back to his place to watch a B-grade vampire movie that looked like it was made in the 80's. The only gem:
Boudreaux: Be gone! You deal with things far more then your comprehension.
Aaron Gray: He didn't just say that.
Lucy Westenra: Spare us the Anne Rice routine. We are not amused.
Scrubs and Lost tonight. Yay.
Fin.
