Ohhhh this is going to annoy me to no ends. I cannot remember the name of a sci-fi show I remember watching, oh, ten or twelve years ago? Or any of the actors in it, of course. It had a name like Star Alliance or something but I imdbed that and got nothin... As I recall it was very Starship Trooper like, but, I can only find an animated Starship Trooper tv series so that's a bust...

Mostly I remember little details of about five of the characters. There's some alien enemy, I don't remember what they were called, but were vaguely humanoid although required different atmospheric conditions to humans. The main guy (v. Johnnie Rico) had joined up when his gf/fiance disappeared offworld. Um. There was a chick, brunette, I think she and her sister witnessed their parents murder or something, and she had a scar on her hand from her sister biting her. There was a black chick, all I remember was she was afraid of blood. Asian guy, his fear was cocroaches (there was an episode with mines that made them hallucinate their biggest fears) I think he ends up going out in a blaze of glory in a later episode. And there was this guy the rest of the troop couldn't fully accept because he was a "tank" artificially grown human; cannon fodder. My memory pegs him as looking rather Jared Padalecki-like.

It's probably nowhere near as good as I remember enjoying it, but, I can't know unless I can figure out what it was and re-watch some episodes.

Does this sound even remotely familiar to anyone?
