I had to go searching the web for some Spanish false cognates, and asked for some outside help...
"In German they're called 'Falsche Freunde', which literally translates to mean, 'False Friends'. I know several in German, though none in Spanish. In German, 'also' means something roughly similar to, 'therefore' or 'hence', possibly, 'ergo'. It's also used in other ways, but never to mean, 'as well as' or 'too'.
"There's also 'das Gift', meaning, 'the poison', and 'was': 'what', 'wer': 'who', and 'Kissen': pillow, amoung others. 'Gift' is my favourite, though."
So, Spring Break is on. But I've been slacking off all week already. But today was the cap of all slacking off days. For one, I got to miss first period and a lot of second for the awards assembly. In second, very few people didn't have the grades to attend the awards assembly, so it was a while before there were any people to return (me, I ate, got my certificate, and fled. I hate crowds). Third I was in the library... Shanny and Crispy were there sleeping in chairs next to each other. Fourth, Reynold's was gone and Jake and I didn't feel like working on the lab we did yesterday. Fifth, Quinn didn't have anything for us, and sixth, Carvahlo was gone so I hung out in the attendance office with Jess.
I wish I knew what pissed Matt off in sixth period. He was rather silently glaring out of the window on the ride home. Rhi didn't know what happened either.
Yeah, I know, I'm really boring tonight. I'm tired. I just want to sleep, or read. What I need to do is clean my room. Blah..... But I have chocolate.
