If you don't like the answers...

then you should cease asking scary questions.
Not that any of the questions I was asked over at CoE were scary. Nor should my answers be that squicky.
Do you like to write? If so, what kind of writing?
I do like to write. In the way of fiction, it's usually fantasy. I do have a few poems, as well. And I've dabbled a little in fanfictions. I've not written anything of epic proportions, but this is usually because I run out of steam after a while.
Do you have any siblings? What are their names and how old are they? Are you close to them?
I have one brother, he's turning 23 this July. We're a lot closer now than when we were teenages, when we used to fight a lot. But now he's grown up some and he spoils me a lot.
What's your favorite part of the Two Towers book and why?
Ha... it's been a while since I've actually read the books. The Two Towers is actually my favorite of the three parts. I think what I love best is the parts with Merry, Pippin, and Treebeard.
From the sounds of your entry, I'm guessing your a college gal. What's your major/minor? Any specific reason for choosing such?
I just started university this year, yes. I'm doing a Bachelor of Vetinary Scicence, but I'm thinking of changing it already. I know I want to work with animals, so I'd like to do zoology maybe. I might even double major with a business degree as well so I can have more job flexibility.
If you could travel back in time to any date and place, historical or not, where would it be and why?
I think I'd like to be in London in the 70's, because I'd love to see the glitter movement firsthand, and London is just an awesome place.
If you could meet one person, dead or alive, real or not, who would it be and why?
I think I'd really like to meet Severus Snape. There are just so many questions I want to ask him. He fascinates me, and oftentimes frustrates me. The more I know about him, the better I can understand why he is the way he is. (and hell, give him a piece of my mind)
If you could only read one pairing and it had to be from the younger generation, who would you choose and why? [for clarification, she's referring to the HP fandom]
I should think you know the answer to this one. Percy Weasley/Oliver Wood. That is my younger gen pairing (aside from a strong belief in Ron/Hermoine becoming canonical), even if JKR will never, ever write in a slash pairing. I simply love the dynamics that can be written with these two boys. There isn't too much written about them in the books, so fanfic writers have more of an opportunity to write them several different ways without being OOC.
If you were a witch, would you be a pureblood, halfblood, or muggleborn? Why? And if pureblood would you have Death Eater connections?
I would be a pureblood. Because if I wasn't, and I went into Slytherin like I want to, I'd probably catch a certain amount of flack for not having the right connections to begin with. I imagine there's a certain hierarchy amongst the Slytherins based on blood, wealth, family connections, grades, and popularity. It is very likely that while I myself would not be a Death Eater, I would probably have Death Eater connections and appear to have Death Eater sympathies.
You are somehow transported to Middle Earth. Where are you and what do you do with your first day?
I'm just outside Minas Tirith, and I think I'd spend most of the day exploring the city, so long as they let me in. I would probably prey upon someone's sympathies for a pretty lass just to get me started off...
You are given the ability to learn instantly one foreign language, which would you choose and why?
Russian. Maybe because I've watch too many movies that happened while the Cold War was still going on, but I think it's a cool sounding language. (it's also Armand's native tongue, yeah?) It's the kind of language where you can be saying something completely tame, but with the right tone and the ignorant would think you're swearing fluently.
I was really tempted to answer Latin, though, because it's the root of so many languages that it would help me to learn them as well, should I ever wish too...
You are a vampire. Who is your Maker why did (s)he give you the blood?
I was made by Pandora. I was just walking along tamely, thinking about nothing in particular, when she spotted me. As an act of revenge on Marius and his blasted rules, or whatever spiked their argument in the first place that had her pissed off, she snatched me and made me a vampire.
I was sitting down and writing a fic for
rose_whispers today. At least starting on it. She is doing one of those meme things where she'll write a fic of a given pairing/genre/cliche. Since others seemed to be offereing fics/art in return, I made a tentative offer to try writing something as well. Thus, I thought I'd take a twist on something I once wrote out of boredom between classes a year or two ago. And there I was, writing, when a completely unrelated plot bunny leaped up and bit me on the ass, demanding to be written nownownow. So I wrote it. I worked on it, and I'm mostly happy with it. But I don't want to post it yet. Would kinda like to get someone to do a quick beta of it... *plots*
[Edit:] Oh hell, I went and posted it anyway over at
weasleys_wood. It's all right, I suppose.
I also wanted to rec
weaslebicons... just have a gaz at these:

The coffee ship icons are cool. And of course I had to ask that she make a Percy/Oliver one, just as I'm hoping
grrliz_icons will make a Percy/Oliver icon to the Baskin Robin's flavour icons she's been making. (I recommend checking those out, too, yes!)
Fin.
