So, my birthday is totally being overshadowed by the book release, naturally. It's kind of funny, because while everyone else is counting down to Saturday, I'm just waiting for Friday. *smirks* Eileen asked if I planned on being back in Palmy on my birthday on purpose, and I said that it would mean escaping special celebrations. Well. Not exactly, but that's a different kind of celebration.
I just spent several minutes wrestling with my navel ring, trying to get it out to switch in a new one. murkeye helped. She wants me to get my nipples pierced so she can play tug o' whore. Right...
I should never cook when my father is in the house. And I most certainly shouldn't ask for his advice when I'm cooking. He just... takes over. It was hard not to snap at him and tell him to stop messing with my recipe. I don't cook very often, damnit, so's best not frustrate me when I do. He gets stressed when anyone interferes with him cooking, but has no problems interfering himself.

I wish I didn't get so emotional as part of PMS. I woke up early this morning and started crying about something totally senseless. Well, not senseless, but there's no point crying over my insecurities. Then there's the other, more physical aspects of PMS: the breakouts and the smaller holding capacity of my bladder. I'm usually more thirsty too, so while I'm drinking more, I'm holding less, and running to the loo every five minutes like I've been out on the piss. Worst birthday present my body could give me.
Anyway, I've plans to go into town with Ange tomorrow. If the weather's not pissy like it's been, I suppose. Maybe even if it is. I'm just slightly weirded out, since she says she has something she wants to show me, and it seems to be something to do with the bribing of Peter to do the body painting competition with me. Given that I'd been joking about sexual favours at the time, yeah, just a little weirded out.
I really want to get a dragon tattoo.
