Dad's trying to get me drunk.

xans*clears throat* Ahem. An experiment in cooking has led to a lovely, lovely meal. Therefore:
Take
1 lb. mincemeat
1 onion, chopped in whichever style you prefer
some garlic, also chopped
and put into a wok with some coconut oil. Brown the meat, then add
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 can chopped tomatoes (or fresh, if you want)
and chives, chopped.
Stir for a few minutes, then let simmer for half an hour (or thereabouts). Serve on rice (or pasta, probably spirals) and enjoy. Make the person who didn't help cook do the dishes.
Measurements need not be as exact as written, but that is the approximate amount of added ingredients. And it was wonderful. Now I'm enjoying a cup of properly brewed coffee with a shot of rum in it. Dad keeps offering to put more rum in it so I'll 'get sleepy' which will let him and Suzy do... unthinkable things. *laughs* Mmm, dark chocolate.

January: I do hate tht it is sunny one day and rainy the next. I am slightly sunburned on the back of my neck.
February: It's overcast, and oh-so-muggy. I feel bad for all the kids who had to go back to school today.
March: You are, Andrea. You're a lovesick puppy.
April: Xanthia; Literal meaning, "Generously jowled."
May: Sue says: I FOUND MORRIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June: Phew, that was long. Ish. I need to take a break and stretch.
July: Up at 7 am on a Saturday morning. It was cold. And icy.
August: I don't want to be a demanding girlfriend. I don't want to be smothering, clingy, or stifle him be feeling he's obligated to meet my every wish.
September: Wee, look! switched in new icons.
October: Having Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves, Pierce Brosnan, a monk-in-training, and zombies all in the same dream makes for fun times. Also, being able to set zombies on fire with my mind is bloody cool.
November: I got into a bit of a cleaning frenzy today. For one thing, the dirty dishes in my room were starting to smell.
December: Have been playing Dungeon Seige rather... fanatically. Not dead. (Yet).
