Sunshine and stuff

xansI got up at 7 this morning, but neither Dad nor Suzy was up, so I went back to bed to sleep until 8:30. Then Dad knocked on my door asking if I was coming with him to Jack and Alice's, whatever... so ten minutes later I was up, dressed, and putting stuff together for my first day back at the tree place. Mostly just making sure I remembered sunscreen and a bottle of water.
It was a very quiet day. Didn't really have much to do as most people who came were just tagging their trees to pick up closer to Christmas. And the few trees that did get cut... were rather big ones that required the chainsaw, so, yeah, didn't cut a single tree today. I did learn how to drive the tractor/mower for the little trailer to carry trees back from the far end of the paddocks.
We knocked off early since there wasn't much happening. I'm going back tomorrow. I'll have to ask Jack which days are definitely mine, 'cause all I know is I get Tuesdays off, and I'll probably have another day off but he hasn't said yet.
