I donated blood today. It was my first time. Didn't feel ill until the first few minutes after I got up. And then, I felt as if I'd lost a pint of blood. But I didn't faint or pass out or any of that wonderful stuff. Certainly I held some morbid interest in the site of my blood in this little bag, and going into the little tubes... I couldn't help but notice that the cranberry juice had a remarkably similar appearance to blood.
Trill remembered the book for me--Neverworld--and one of the books from my library came in too. So now I'm rereading the Eye of the World, and will eventually get to Neverworld. Wheeee.
I have the sudden desire to play candy train at pogo.com.
It was so funny yesterday. I felt sort of popular when I had 11 emails in my inbox. Normally, I only get one or two, and they're just subscriptions. But I got a few deadjournal comments as well as some actual emails. Rather trivial, yes, but surprising. You might say my inboxes aren't very active things... so when I get more than five, it's exciting, especially when none of it's junkmail.
