diea, you must read this book. I mean, I know you've sort of been reading Pratchett stuff now thanks to us. I mean, I suppose you could read Equal Rites, Wyrd Sisters, and Witches Abroad beforehand, but it's just that Lords and Ladies captures the parallel universe thing rather well. That, and next to Sam Vimes, Granny Weatherwax is the other Disc character I'd aspire to be like.
Yes, I'm currently abusing my small collection of Pratchett books. I siriusly need to get more Disc novels. It's just the lack of job thing (damn them) and the moving thing both suggest I should wait until I've moved and got a job. Ah, well. Wish we had a better library.
