Am tempted to write long entry, but at the same time suffering from PMS and the flu.
On one hand, I like playing basketball in P.E. but on the other... I hate it. There are certain guys who just like to forget there are girls on their team. There are certain guys who pick on the girls for their smaller stature (we have several short girls). There are several guys who think they're all that at basketball but get less shots in the hoop than ME. And then there's certain girls who panic... and some who get pissed off at me when I'm not trying to piss them off!
Poor Kah, she's so tiny. She's usually wide open and fairly good at getting a shot in, but most her team members forget she exists. She'll try to go after a ball when it goes stray, only to have someone else supersede her. Or there's all the tall guys blocking her.
Holly was just vicious, amoral, and a bit pathetic.
Harmony seemed to forget Kah and I were on her team too. I'd be wide open while Shannan and Marti were trying to get the ball off her, and she'd only be looking for Mike, Charlie, or Chris.
I kept pissing off Carissa. I swear anytime I play against her I piss her off. I'm good at keeping my eye on people, and well, it ticks her off. Not to mention I'm about a head taller than her (even w/o platforms). There wasn't much I could do about that. I still feel bad about the one time I accidentally knocked her over in hockey.
I scared the fuck out of Jess a couple of times though. Apparently it weirds people out if you get a silly grin on your face, and prance/jump at them rather than run/walk. Then there was the fact that when I jumped up to her I said, "Hellooooo, Jessica." It freaked her out.
Then of course are the guys who piss me off. I don't like Travis for his ball hogging. I don't like Mike because he wouldn't pass to me or Kah. I don't like Jerrod for the same reason I don't like Travis--that, and the fact he made a billion shots but only got two in--yet still thinks he's all that. I don't like Ian for getting in the way of our game and getting pissy about it.
Charlie and Chris are awesome though. Chris is so tall, he almost always gets the ball in. Elijah's pretty tall, and while he remembers there's girls on his team, he was pretty mean to Kah.
Still, I got several shots in, including one inside the three point line. That's good, right?
Rhi got me to watch Super Troopers last night at her place. It's one funny movie. Weird, but funny. And I have an invitation to watch the EE of TTT at her place this weekend. I'll try to be better first.
Fin.
