Got mad at Sims 2 yesterday, damn nanny went home when she wasn't supposed to and the toddlers got taken away by social services. I hate it when the game does stuff like that to me.

...so, yeah, staying logged in seems to be an issue for me lately. Huh.

Baked another set of banana choc chip muffins today. And shortbread biscuits. Joe is supposed to be baking a one-egg choc cake for Heaven's birthday (tomorrow) and I'm doing the icing. They love my butter icing. :D

Daylight savings is fucking with my sleep cycle and I have to remember to start cooking dinner before it starts getting dark. I feel like such a Sim sometimes.

Speaking of Sims, Heaven shelled out for the Sims Life Stories and got me to install in on the computer. Alan hates the game and is leery of becoming a Sims-widow. I am possibly going to be guilty of this. It's just so damned addictive! Must remember self-restraint.

Self restraint is fun... until you drop the key.

I'm assaulting my brother with questions. It's kind of fun. What must suck for him is that they probably seem pretty random. I mean, really, some of them don't really lead into the others. Whatever, at least he's answering them. This is sort of the longest convo we've had in... a while.
I love my Matt Damon icon. What's cool is it's made from a desktop. So, basically... I have a larger version of that picture. *drool* Speaking of large pictures, there's a huge Brad Pitt poster in the room I may be renting at my bro's flat this summer. Woot!
I saw Biz this weekend. Rhi and I went to Party City to get my wings. I'm going to be a fairy for Halloween. My wings are nice. They were only $20. Mum says they are very Amy Brown-ish. Biz if you're ever bored at work you can check them out... I got the fiery dawn ones that are all orange and yellow and red. We also got fishnet stockings and red hair spray stuff. Should be interesting to see how that turns out.

I saw 50 First Dates on Saturday at Rhi's. (It's so cool and sweet!) She was bored after shopping and had me over. We watched Lost. I also played the Sims 2 and got my Sim a new house. I hadn't done furnishing it by the time I had to go home... but I made brownies on Sunday and brought them with me when I came over for us to watch Van Helsing (cool special effects for a low budget movie). Then we watched Final Contact... before Matt, Rhi, and I went upstairs and I played more Sims 2. Got my Sim a boyfriend named Dorian. Matt is planning to take the three of us to see the Incredibles when it comes out if he has the money. So nice of him. :D I definitely want to see it.
Rainy weather makes me cry.

I finally got to play me. Apparently the me Sim likes Matt. A lot. I couldn't get her to talk to Rhi or try and get rid of Jake if I had anything about talking to Matt. (Rhi please don't kill me.) And she's far more interested in working out than I've ever been. But it was still pretty fun and at least she wants to learn how to cook.

Andrea's package for me arrived today. Two new CD's for me and an afternoon spent writing a reply to her letter. Yay! I had to tell her of the dream I mentioned a couple entries ago since she was in it. I wonder how she'll react? *shrugs* It will be amusing to learn.
I walked up to mum earlier today, and started out with a very strong, "I think." And then I continued, "I think you should take Gary out to the Red Apple Diner again sometime soon." She's asked him to have a shower and then she'll take him out to dinner *listens* and the shower has just started. I'm feeding myself tonight. Well, there's easy cookable food so no panic from me.
